We're opening APPLICATIONS for the IME Discovery Alumni Program — and we want you to help shape it before we finalise a single detail.
Through this year's IME Discovery workshops and this conference, we've shared more of our thinking, our cases and our honest opinions than we usually would. That was deliberate. It's a taste of what an ongoing community built around this work could feel like.
We’ve been developing an idea for an alumni program open to anyone who has completed an IME DISCOVERY WORKSHOP delivered in 2026, or attended the IME DISCOVERY—THE CONFERENCE. The original plan was one offer for everyone. Talking with so many of you, it’s clear that’s not quite right. Some of you are still training, setting up a practice or weighing up whether medicolegal work is for you, and want guidance and mentoring as you find your feet. Others are already doing this work and want a genuine peer community — people to review cases with, learn from and be challenged by.
Both of those are exactly who this program is for. Wherever you are on that path, this is being built for you, not around you.
Rather than lock in the structure now and ask you to take it or leave it, we want to build it with you. That’s what this APPLICATION is. It won’t commit you to anything, and it takes a few minutes. What it does is give us a real picture of where people are at, what they need and what they’d value enough to invest in — so the program we launch actually reflects that, instead of our best guess at it.
